Our expert team, led by Dr. A. Reza Miremadi a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon, includes an experienced staff in oral and maxillofacial procedures such as wisdom teeth, dental implants and bone grafting; reconstructive procedures such as jaw deformity correction and facial trauma surgery and such facial cosmetic surgery procedures as rhinoplasty, facial liposuction and facial implants as well as BOTOX® Cosmetic.
The surgical staff at The Center for Facial & Oral Surgery are experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in administration of IV sedation and surgery. We also have a trained registered nurse (RN) to assist in surgery. All staff are informed administrative personnel, well-versed in health and insurance policies, and are CPR certified.
Dr. Miremadi is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon caring for patients in the Greater Dayton area. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Miremadi is also on staff at Miami Valley Hospital and is a member of their level 1 trauma team where he takes care of patients with severe facial trauma. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in the department of Plastic Surgery at Wright State University in Ohio. Cincinnati Magazine Feb 2009 ranked Dr. Miremadi as top 15% of Dentist in the Cincinnati area.
Dental implants help preserve facial structure, preventing bone deterioration and damage to adjacent teeth that occurs when teeth are missing. The implants themselves are tiny titanium posts that are surgically placed into the jawbone where teeth are missing. Patients with Dental Implants can smile with confidence, knowing that replacement teeth placed on the Dental Implants will look, feel, and function like natural teeth.
Dr. Miremadi performs in-office implant surgery in a hospital-style operating suite, thus optimizing the level of sterility. Inpatient hospital implant surgery is for patients who have special medical or anesthetic needs or for those who need extensive bone grafting from the jaw, hip or tibia.
